Porsche Tour of New Zealand

New Zealand is famous for its incredible wealth of diverse and fascinating scenery, with green valleys, deep-blue lakes, fjords, mountains, volcanoes and geysers. The South Island is characterised by rainforests, coastal plains and mountain peaks of up to 3,700 metres. The North Island is more densely populated. Here, Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city, and the capital Wellington present a stark contrast to the Central Plateau with its impressive volcanoes and hot springs. Both islands undoubtedly offer a wide variety of things to see and do. But one of the most wonderful aspects of New Zealand are the spectacular coastal and mountain routes, making this the ideal location for an unforgettable Porsche driving experience.

North Island itinerary

Individual travel to Auckland. Enjoy dinner with the group at the Waterfront, the city’s modern marina, before spending the night at the Westin Auckland hotel. The next day, drive across the Coromandel peninsula and along the coast to Pauanui, where you will stay at the Puka Park Resort. Inland, the scenery of the North Island is dominated by volcanoes, geysers and unspoilt forests. After visiting a volcanic park, spend the night at the exclusive Solitaire Lodge. The next leg of the tour takes you to Lake Taupo, stopping off to marvel at the turquoise blue Huka Falls along the way. After lunch, there’s a chance to get your adrenalin pumping with a helicopter ride or a tandem parachute jump. The next day, you continue on towards the east coast. Stop off at a winery for a wine tasting, followed by dinner. The tour continues on the following day on the winding roads through the undulating countryside. From Wellington, where you spend the night at the Intercontinental Hotel, set off on the final leg of the tour through the wine-growing region of Martinborough. After visiting the famous Museum of New Zealand, enjoy a farewell dinner of typical New Zealand specialities in Wellington. You can then choose to extend your stay on the North Island or to continue with our exhilarating tour on the South Island.
