The Mediterranean to your left, French flair to your right.
An unforgettable time straight ahead
A mild climate, Mediterranean vegetation, azure water – the attractions of France's Côte d’Azur exert their strong appeal all year round. Just like a Porsche. So why not combine the two for an unbeatable trip? Enjoy Michelin-starred cuisine in the world's best restaurants. Bask in the luxury of world renowned hotels that are also historical monuments to French history. Add Porsche precision, acceleration and dynamics to the mix and you end up with the recipe for matchless driving pleasure on serpentine roads in the Alpine foothills or along the coast.
The first destination will be Nice airport. You begin your tour in Cannes. The transfer from Nice Airport to Cannes already reflects the exclusive flavour of the 7-day tour to come. You will be travelling by helicopter. Your destination for the night is equally befitting: the Hôtel Majestic Barrièresituated directly at the famed promenade Boulevard de la Croisette, provides panoramic views of the entire bay. Enjoy the evening and the subsequent night in keeping with the typical French flair for the art of living – savoir-vivre.
In the morning it’s time to get behind the wheel of your Porsche, fasten your seat belt and start the engine as you make your way along the coast to St. Tropez, which has long been a popular hot spot for the international jet set. For the rest of the day you are free to explore the Côte d’Azur's legendary port at your leisure. You will spend the evening at the luxury design Hotel Sezz.
Today's leg of the tour takes you through Lorgues, nestled between idyllic vineyards and olive groves, to Tourrettes – with a visit to the truffle paradise of Restaurant Chez Bruno in between. The final destination is the Terre Blanche Hôtel with grounds that spread over about 300 hectares, so there is ample room for a leisurely exploration of this top hotel's many charms.
Day 4 brings the promise of experiencing the pure joy of driving your Porsche to Moustiers Sainte-Marie. Located north of the Lac de Sainte-Croix reservoir, it is considered to be one of France's most picturesque mountain villages. After lunch it's time to head back towards the Terre Blanche Hôtel over winding inland roads.
Another site well worth visiting is the village of Gourdon, which has won awards for being one of France's most beautiful villages. Afterwards, your route leads to Vence, where you will spend the night at the Hotel Château Saint-Martin & Spa, a hotel with a rich historical background sporting a terrace from which you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Mediterranean coast.
From there your journey goes back to the Côte d’Azur. A myriad of hairpin bends on the route sweeten the journey, particularly the section of the legendary original Monte Carlo Rally route that winds up to the Col de Turini. Back in Cannes, you will spend your last evening back at the Hôtel Majestic Barrière.
Savour your last impressions on the helicopter ride to the Nice airport. Then it's “au revoir”– and “merci” for memories that will last a lifetime
