The Cayenne S Coupé is powered by a newly developed 4.0-litre biturbo V8 engine with a maximum power output of 349 kW (474 PS) and a drag torque of 600 Nm. V8 engines stand for exceptional power output, high drag torque, low-vibration operation and a characteristic sound.

Drive and chassis.

Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM).

PASM is an electronic damping control system that is standard on all Cayenne models. It actively and continuously controls the damping force according to the road conditions and driving mode. For reduced bodyshell movements and thereby more comfort on all seats. Four settings are available: 'Normal', 'Sport', 'Sport Plus' and 'Off-road'.

Adaptive air suspension.

The enhanced adaptive air suspension with full load-bearing air-spring struts in 2-chamber technology allows for an even greater combination of comfort and sportiness while at the same time maintaining the same ride comfort. The level system helps to maintain a constant ride height. By adjusting the height of the chassis, the ground clearance can be varied as required, for example during off-road use. The rear end can also be lowered for easier loading of the luggage compartment.

Chassis.

Whether you're in the driver's seat or a passenger: driving a Porsche should feel like a sport while still offering great comfort. The Cayenne Coupé models manage this balancing act effortlessly: thanks to the enhanced chassis and technologies that adapt the chassis even better to the intended use — such as off-road use. Brakes.

They provide brake pressure that is considerably more powerful and, crucially, exceptionally consistent during prolonged use.

Typically Porsche driver-orientated in the style of the new Porsche Driver Experience: the digital instrument cluster with a 12.65-inch curved display places the displays concisely in the field of vision. Various display formats can be selected: typical round instruments, map section in the central round instrument, full area navigation map, reduced view and the optional view with Night Vision Assist in the centre.

The multifunction sports steering wheel in Race-Tex has a 12 o'clock marking in Racing Yellow and — depending on the GT interior package selected — contrasting stitching in Deep Sea Blue or Arctic Grey. A special feature of the Cayenne Turbo GT: the Sport Response button in Red.

Depending on the GT interior package selected, the front sports seats have an embroidered 'Turbo GT' model logo in Deep Sea Blue or Arctic Grey on the headrests. With raised side bolsters and integrated headrests, the sports seats combine dynamic driving and excellent seat comfort, and adapt to the body shape with the help of electrical adjustment options (8-way). The perforated seat centres in Race-Tex offer first-class seating.

Depending on the GT interior package selected, the seat belts in Deep Sea Blue or Arctic Grey give the characteristic colour concept of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT even more expressiveness.

Sitting into the Cayenne Turbo GT means immersing yourself in a pure racetrack atmosphere. The feeling of space is emphasised by the GT interior packages with contrasting stitching in Deep Sea Blue or Arctic Grey. Both packages offer Race-Tex equipment with leather items. The ambient lighting provides special lighting moods for a pleasant driving atmosphere at night.

Drive and chassis.

4.0 litre V8 biturbo engine.

Makes starting off a flying start: the 4.0 litre V8 twin-turbo engine with 485 kW (659 PS) and a max. torque of 850 Nm unleashes pure power. Together with the 8-speed Tiptronic S and the specially balanced chassis systems, it enables the Cayenne Turbo GT to excel in longitudinal and lateral acceleration.

Chassis.

A powerful engine is one thing. But the power output must be transformed into optimal driving dynamics. The specifically tuned chassis helps the Cayenne Turbo GT achieve top values. Examples of this include wider wheels with greater camber on the front axle, adaptive air suspension including Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) and rear-axle steering.

Titanium sport exhaust system.

The expressive titanium sports exhaust system with central tailpipes, which is installed exclusively in the Cayenne Turbo GT, does not take away from the punchy V8 sound in the slightest – but its lightweight metal design does reduce the vehicle weight.

Brakes.

Proven in motor sports: the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB). The cross-drilled ceramic brake discs have a diameter of 440 mm and the front 410 mm at the rear. The PCCB has Yellow 10-piston aluminium monobloc fixed callipers on the front axle and 4-piston aluminium monobloc fixed callipers on the rear axle. They provide brake pressure that is considerably more powerful and, crucially, exceptionally consistent during prolonged use.
