The new Porsche Macan unveiled at Porsche Centre Kuwait
Porsche Centre Kuwait, Behbehani Motors Company, officially welcomed the new Porsche Macan during an exclusive media reveal hosted at the showroom. The event was held in the presence of the Behbehani family, the management team and media members, who gathered to usher in the highly-anticipated new Macan.
The event unveiled two variations of the new model, both the Macan & Macan S, and guests were able to explore the new features of the vehicle, which continues to impress and resonate as the sportiest car of the compact SUV segment. The new Macan now maneuvers the roads of Kuwait with greater levels of driving dynamics, comfort and an enhanced design, that’s true to the Porsche DNA.
The 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine of the facelifted Macan produces 252 hp and reaches a top speed of 227 km/h. While the Macan S is now powered by a new V6 engine, producing 354 hp, and can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds, with the optional Sport Chrono Package.
Macan drivers have greater assistance levels for their comfort through the likes of the Traffic Jam Assist and ParkAssist with reversing camera and Surround View, which can be optionally fitted per request. Additionally, and for the first time, a heated windscreen can be available for the Macan vehicle, with a special film integrated in the windscreen without the use of heating wires. The glass can also be enhanced with thermal and noise insulation, blocking harmful UV rays, outside noise and increasing protection against breaking into the vehicle.
The facelifted Macan is available in various distinctive exterior colours, including: Carmine Red, Mamba Green Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, Miami Blue and Crayon. Increased personalisation options are also possible through the Porsche Exclusive Manufakture programme, with countless customisation preferences.
