Are all pre-owned Porsche vehicles suitable for the Porsche Approved Pre-owned Car Programme?
The warranty requirements are only valid for Porsche vehicles which
- have been inspected and/or repaired by a Porsche dealer
- have a mileage of less than 200,000 kilometres or 125,000 miles
- are less than 9 years old (8 years for a 24-month warranty)
- were repaired or serviced using only original Porsche parts

Porsche Approved Pre-owned Cars are available from any authorised Porsche Dealer.
Which inspections are carried out on the vehicles?
The Porsche Pre-owned Car Warranty covers the function of the following components and assemblies:
- Engine (incl. radiator, heating / heat exchanger, evaporator) without exhaust system
- Manual and automatic transmission (incl. clutch release bearing, clutch fork) without clutch
- Final drive (incl. transaxle and drive shafts)
- Gear assembly (incl. power steering und power-steering hose)
- All pumps
- Brake master cylinder, brake booster, accumulators, ABS
- All electric motors
- All electronic control units
- Air conditioning (without loss of refrigerant)
- Heated rear window (no breakages)
- Horn
- Instrument cluster
- All switches (functional defects only)
Who carries out the inspections?
The inspections are only carried out by trained Porsche technicians.

How long is the warranty valid for?
Our warranty will be honoured by any Porsche Centre and is valid worldwide. It is available for all Porsche vehicles less than 9 years old (8 years for a 24-month warranty) where the mileage is less than 200,000 km (125,000 miles) and where all warranty requirements are fulfilled.
Can I transfer the warranty?
Should you wish to sell your Porsche, you will also benefit from the Porsche Approved Pre-owned Warranty. The remaining warranty is transferred to the new owner in case of the purchase to a private individual. And this will undoubtedly increase the value of your vehicle.
Why should I buy a pre-owned Porsche from a Porsche dealer?
Porsche Approved Pre-owned Cars are only available from authorised Porsche dealers. A manufacturer's warranty is only available from authorised Porsche dealers. And it is only here that you can be sure that your pre-owned Porsche has been thoroughly checked and properly serviced by trained Porsche technicians.
