Race Format and Points Structure
The championship consists of two categories: Professional and Amateur. Drivers in both categories are competing for a prize money of £32,000. Additionally, there is a team championship where each team assigns a maximum of two drivers to score points for them throughout the season.
Points are awarded based on finishing positions in the respective classes.
Race Format
For 2023 the Championship will consist of 18 races over six events, exclusively on the TOCA package.
All events will be Three Race events.
Qualifying and Race 1 will be on the Saturday, Races 2 & 3 on Sunday.
Qualifying will set the grid positions for Races 1 & 2 – the fastest and second fastest laps will count.
The overall finishing positions of Race 2 will determine the grid for Race 3.
All Races will have standing starts.
Points Structure
Drivers will score 1 point for setting the fastest lap in their category in each race.
Drivers that set the fastest lap time within their category during qualifying at each race weekend will be awarded one championship point.
